Our Tips for arranging your group society day at Colmworth
We suggest the use of the following holes for Nearest the Pin competitions; listed easiest to hardest in order of difficulty.
9th | 5th | 11th | 17th
We suggest the following for Longest drive competitions:
4th | 10th | 14th | 16th
If you would like to hold a straightest drive competition, we are happy to spray a paint line along the fairway by prior arrangement.
We ask for a returnable deposit for the use of our nearest the pin and longest drive markers.
Buggy’s are available, (weather permitting), at a rate of £22 per round or £ 32 for all day. Due to us only having a small fleet of buggies, we now ask for payment up front if people wish to pre-book for their society day and a refundable deposit is required to ensure you bring the key back!
Our shop is stocked with just basic everyday golfing essentials, such as balls, tees, gloves, hand warmers etc.
If you have booked a meal following your golf, The Welham Hall will again be available for your exclusive use to enjoy a delicious home cooked meal and presentation of prizes. Remember that if you have more than 28 players on the day, we will also issue you with 4 green fee vouchers for use as prizes on the day.
We hope you have been tempted to come along and give our course a go and please feel free to contact Julie or Jaz either by email: email@example.com or by phone: 01234 378181 if you have any further questions or requirements to make your day a memorable event.
If you manage to get more that 16 players turn up for your group golf society day “THE ORGANISER” can come along for FREE as a thank you from us
We consider 12 players to be the minimum number to play in a society so if your numbers drop below 12 they may be charged extra on the green fee.
