🍳 Weekend Chef Wanted Healthy, Home-Cooked Food in a Welcoming Café Setting We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dependable Weekend Chef to join our friendly team at The Coffee Cup, a cherished café nestled within the scenic grounds of Colmworth Golf Club. If you love cooking with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and enjoy crafting wholesome meals that bring people together, this could be your perfect weekend role.
🌿 About the Role You’ll lead weekend kitchen operations, preparing and serving a menu of nourishing, home-style dishes in a relaxed, community-focused environment. From hearty breakfasts to homemade cakes and pastries, your food will be the highlight of someone’s weekend. You’ll be supported by a dedicated kitchen hand, and while the kitchen can get lively, your calm, confident approach will keep everything running smoothly. • Location: Colmworth Golf Club • Hours: Saturdays & Sundays, 7:30am – 3:30pm • Additional Hours: Fridays, 10:00am – 4:00pm (Kitchen Support alongside a weekday chef) • Type: Part-time / Permanent • Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We’re looking for a confident and supportive Weekend Clubhouse Supervisor to help lead our team during busy weekend shifts.
You’ll be working alongside our developing team members—often students or those in the early stages of their working lives—helping the team stay calm and clear-headed during busy periods, and then encouraging them to stay focused and proactive when things quieten down. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards, guiding the team through the ebb and flow of the day while keeping service smooth and welcoming for golfers and visitors alike. As a hands-on supervisor, you’ll also be involved in the day-to-day running of the clubhouse, including clearing tables, taking bookings, and supporting our café service, helping to keep everything running smoothly.
If you're calm under pressure, enjoy working with others, and like the idea of mentoring in a hands-on and supportive way, we’d love to hear from you.

Fancy giving FlingGolf a go? 🎯
We now have a few FlingSticks available to hire at Colmworth! It’s a fun, fast-paced twist on traditional golf—perfect for all ages and abilities. Just grab a stick and a ball (that’s all you need!) and head out onto our pitch & putt course, which is ideal for trying it out.
Here’s how to play:
Tee off by flinging the ball from the FlingStick to launch it down the fairway from the raised tee—think lacrosse meets golf!
Approach shots are made more like a croquet shot—position the ball between your feet then just scoop and fling!
Putting is done using a gentle push or “bump” with the FlingStick – remember to add the weights into the head of the stick!
Keep score just like regular golf—or don’t, if you’re just in it for the fun!
Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to mix things up, FlingGolf is a great way to enjoy the game in a more relaxed and playful way.

How to book: Please write a note on your par 3 booking to flag it to us that you wish to play FlingGolf – add the required number of FlingGolf sticks to your booking (but please note - we only have a limited number available to hire - if we are unable to accommodate your request we will contact you to reschedule!) ⛳💥
Golf balls are available to purchase in our shop.
DEPOSIT: we will require a refundable £30 per stick deposit or a Driving License if you prefer - we will organise this for you on the day.
Open to all junior club members
This year the junior club championships will be played on the 9 hold pitch & putt with the aim to be on the main course next year!
This will be held on Friday 11th July between 4:30 & 5pm
