Colmworth has the most perfect facilities providing the best way to get into golf.

Have a go!

Our fun little FootGolf and Pitch & Putt course is a great place to start. Bring the whole family along - you can play a mix of FootGolf & pitch and putt between you.

Learn

Have a few lessons with either of our golf professionals - from "Golf in a day" sessions, "Learn to play golf breaks" and by the hour lessons - we are sure you will have fun!

Get practising!

We have a great pathway to becoming a fully fledged member! Start with our "Par 3 pass" which can give you full access to our pitch & putt course for 3, 6 or 12 months.

When you feel you're ready, get in touch and step up to our "Blue Pass" - a 3 month pass to the last 6 holes on our main course. A great way to see what golf on the "big course" is like.

Then you'll be ready for one of our many 18 hole course memberships or passes!

Free Junior Golf Clinics with World Trick Shot Champion Geoff Swain!

Every Sunday - times have now been allocated. If you would like to join in, please get in touch and we will see if we can find space for you!

Last week we awarded Colmworth Member, Ronnie Young with our “Colmworth Eco Warrior” Trophy & recycled plastic Colmworth sports towel!

This is the first year this prize has been awarded as it was made from the old plastic tees bought in from our “Tee Amnesty” - a genius idea of Ronnie’s

"bring in your old plastic tees in exchange for a new bamboo tee - no questions asked!
Now the old plastic tees have been made into a trophy, we will be awarding it each year to our most worthy eco warrior member! We will ask our community to nominate worthy participants for us to decide who should win each year from here on.
Huge thank you to Ronnie once again for his fantastic idea and we are looking forward to hearing what other great eco activities and ideas our members get up to.

This is one of the best formats to start playing in competitions, since you can “pick up” on any hole where you can no longer gain any points .

Devised by Dr Frank Stableford for players of different handicaps to compete on equal terms in a stroke play event .

Each hole has a “stroke index” (see score card) which, combined with a player’s handicap determines the number of shots received on a hole .

A player with a handicap of 10 will receive 1 stroke on indexes 1 to 10. A player with a handicap of 28 will receive 2 shots on indexes 1 to 10, and 1 stroke on indexes 11 to 18 .

On each hole, the player deducts any shots he is given from his actual score to give a NET score. This is then converted into points:

Two or more over par is 0 points; One over par is 1 point; Par is 2 points; One under par is 3 points, Two under par is 4 points .
